    <>     Interaction with Tourists from countries all over the world happens frequently in the campus due to the Industrial linkage   and locational advantage of Kuttikkanam as a tourist place. Tourists join in the events and festivals like Onam celebrated and organized as a tourism event in the college. This provides real-life learning opportunities for the students.

<> Membership and active involvement in MAHAT (Marian Association of Hospitality and Tourism) an association of hospitality student inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Kerala.

<> e-Newsletter on hospitality edited and published by students  and faculty  named Tourism-Hospitality news

<> Leadership and participation in the Folklore Club, Tourism Club, Economic Times Club, Film Club, Quiz Club, Nature Club etc.

<> Meet the CEO -. A programme initiated and conducted by the Master of Management in Hospitality students for regular    interaction with the top brass in the industry

<> Planning, organizing & executing various programmes within the campus

<> Regular Classroom Presentations/Seminars/Workshops etc.

Extramural

<> An educational trip to a foreign country known for its tourism promotion

<>    An all-India tour, numerous industrial visits & brief trips nad field trips to various tourism destinations.

<>    Eco tourism & tourism promotion projects/ Exhibitions/ Awareness programme/       Campaigns organized for the general public/schools/colleges etc - with support from the District Tourism Promotion Council of the Government of Kerala

<>     Undertakes many paid and voluntary research works of tourism and hospitality every year

<>    Publications by the students - Booklets on Indian Heritage, Fresh destinations,Specialities of places ,things,events,festivals,Flora,Fauna etc.

<> Publishing creative         student write-ups on various topics related to Hospitality in the newspapers, magazines etc

<> Tourism Information Cell run by the Master of Management in Hospitality students

<> Concurrent project on Destination development (In addition to the semester projects)
