2010 Batch B tech / MCA
65% marks (Till results Known) in MCA/BE,BTech.
maximum 5 arrears permitted
Candidates with knowledge in the following programming areas preferred
- Java Programming especially Servlets, JSP
- Database Systems like SQL server, postgreSQL
- Scripting languages like Javascript, VBScript
- HTML and CSS

Selection procedure:
Online test COMPRISES OF APTITUDE TESTS AND QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO JAVA AND LINUX.
THE DURATION OF THE TEST WILL BE 60 MINUTES
Final Interview for Short listed candidates will be conducted at Company Premises at Chennai.
SALARY STRUCTURE:
BE CANDIDATES - RS.10000/- PM FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS PROBATION.
ON Successful COMPLETION OF PROBATION, THE SALARY WILL BE RS.16000/-
MCA CANDIDATES - RS.6000/- PM FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS PROBATION.
ON successful COMPLETION OF PROBATION, THE SALARY WILL BE RS.12000/-
BOND:
A bond for 2yrs period will be applicable . (This will be in the form of Bank Guarantee for One lakh and the certificate of which will be retained with the company until the end of the bond period. No need to make any payment to company. )

CTIPS Formed
Marian College played a leading role in formating CTIPS Kerala - The Consortium of Technical Institutions for Placement Services. It is an alliance of 12 professional colleges in Central Travancore who have come together for campus placement activities without any profit motives, mainly aiming at making students employable and helping them to find placements by focusing on 2 areas: -

MCAs learn from the horse's mouth
The placement cell organized a one-day job interview training programme for the MCA students. They had the rare opportunity to club an elite team of staff of Marian College from all streams of academics and specializations. Leading the interview panel was Prof. Jose Mathew Mattom, Director of the PGDBA programme, former GM Keltron and emminent organizational trainer.
