spiritual life The Chapel has long been a centre of intellectual and spiritual life at Marian. Religious services have been a part of life in the college since its inception. Here the students reflect on the intellectual, social and religious issues they have encountered. The chapel and its services assume parental responsibility over the entire student body regardless of religion, creed or conviction. Orientations on spiritual, personal and social values are proffered to the students, strengthening their moral and social values and making them adept to face the challenges of the modern world. the holistic advance Marian adopts a holistic approach to education. We emphasize character formation and focus on value education so that the students may excel in all fronts and help to serve the society better. The full time Extension Program Director coordinates a host of activities aimed at the overall development of the students. counseling Marian has a varied range of services for personal, career and educational concerns. Professionally trained resident counselors provide counseling to the students. Strict confidentiality is ensured, and the service is available both on individual and group basis. medical services Marian is fully equipped to handle any medical emergency with competent doctors on call 24 hours. The several health-care medical centers in the immediate vicinity are fully equipped to handle all complex health conditions effectively. food and nutrition We take special care in providing quality food for the students giving due consideration to the vital needs for proteins, vitamins and minerals necessary for effective growth and learning. Marian does this under the able, learned guidance of Prof. Mathew Kurian.
