Description: As part of International Women's Day SAMARITANS-BSW program organised a webinar on gender equality and related laws in collaboration with Taluk legal service authority and KAPS. Ms. Anithamol Babu was the faculty co-ordinator for the webinar. The webinar was started at 2.30 pm. Mr. Ajesh P Joseph, HoD in-charge, BSW program welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sibi Joseph Director School of Social Work delivered the presidential address. The welcome speech was presided by respected sir Ajesh P Joseph, HOD,BSW program followed by the welcome speech and special message was given by respected Krishna Prabhan R., Chairman,TLSC, Munisiff Magistrate Peermade. Dr. Sushma P.K., Deputy DMO & DPM, NHM, Idukki inaugurated the webinar and delivered the inaugural address .The main resource person for the webinar Mr. Suraj S., Judicial First-Class Magistrate-II, Peermade. He took a session on gender equality and related laws for one hour. The student coordinator Ms. Sharon Elizabeth Bobby delivered the vote of thanks. The webinar was over by 4.15 pm.
