Description: SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK Arambham 2k22 ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINNING CEREMONY II BSW (2021-2024) BATCH Date: 23rd June 2022 Time: 8:30 am Venue: Conference hall The new academic year was started on 23rd June 2022 for second year BSW students. The programmes of the day started with a Holy Mass for Catholic students.Fr. Akhil P Joseph was the celebrant. The meeting was started at 9.30 am with a melodious prayer song by the students, which was followed by the welcome address of Dr Justin P J, faculty advisor of BSW Second year A Batch. Prof. Dr. Ajimon George delivered the principals address. He gave a light to the students regarding their academic and personal life for the New Academic Year with stories and examples. A Lamp Lightning Ceremony was held then. Principal, HoD, Faculty and students representatives lit the lamp. Ms. Akshaya S, Faculty Advisor, BSW Second year B Batch led the Serenity Prayer. At 11.am there is a tea break for all. At 11.30 am common orientation was taken by Dr Jobi Babu , HoD, BSW Proramme of School of Social Work. He explained the rules and regulations of the college and the department. Separate class meetings were held with A batch and B batch students with their faculty advisors. New class representatives were selected for the academic year. Ms. Arsha Maria George and Mr. Martin George Thomas from A Batch and Mr. Jeo Jeromy and Ms. Aleena Mariam John were selected as class representatives.
