Description: PROGRAM REPORT AAROGHYAMELA-2022 was organized on 25th June 2022 at Marian College kuttikkanam Autonomous in collaboration with Azhutha Block Panchayat, Health department, AYUSH department, Kumily, Vandiperiyar, Peermade, Elappara, Peruvanthanam and Kokkayar Community Health Centre, Vandiperiyar and Taluk Headquarters HospitalPeermade AAROGHYAMELA was organized by the health and wellness centers to create awareness among the people. All sections of the people participated in the block level health fair which was organized to bring various health related schemes to the people and to create health awareness. AROGHYAMELA-2022 was the first event led by the Marian College NSS unit for the 2022-23 academic year. On 25th Saturday morning 9am the program was started by VILAMBARA RALLY hoisted by Idukki DPM Dr.Anoop K. NSS Program Coordinator Ms. Divya Lakshmi and NSS volunteer Anumol Roy led the rallys announcement. The rally throughout the Kuttikkanam town ended at 9:45am at Marian College Kuttikkanam. This was followed by a flash mob of by NSS volunteers from Marian College. . The inaugural session started at 10.15 am. Shri. P.M Noushad, President, Azhutha Block Panchayath presided over the function. Then Honorable Peermade MLA Shri Vazhoor Soman inaugurated the exhibition stalls. After the inaugural session honorable Idukki MP Shri Dean Kuriakose officiated. In addition to health fair around 7 stalls such as homeopathy, allopathic, eye department, dental and food stall were set up in different class rooms in Marian college. Each stall had 3 NSS volunteers full time to assist the exhibition. There were also 4 NSS volunteers at the main registration counter. NSS volunteers were assigned duties of main registration counter, volunteers in each stalls, general guiding, food counter, anchoring, announcement, documentation etc The event concluded on Saturday 25/06/2022 around 3:30pm.
