Description: OBSERVATION OF WORLD TIGER DAY Department of Forest and Wildlife Periyar West Division peermade in association with National Service Scheme, Marian College Kuttikanam celebrated World Tiger Day on 29 July 2022. A district level water coloring competition was organized in connection with the day observation.Competition was held for students at three levels, High school, Higher secondary and college. 45 students from various educational institution from Idukki District participated in the programme.NSS volunteers provided all necessary assistance for the conduction of the programme. Program. A valedictory session was held in which Special guests were Jyothish J Ozhikkal, Rage Forset Officer Azhutha, Ms. Reni R Pillai (Deputy Wild Education director). Prof. Dr. Ajimon George, Pricipal,Marian College Kuttikkanam (Autonomous) deliverd the felicitation address. In this function, a memento was offered to Marian College for hosting the programme successfully. Dr.Justin P.J, Mr. Ratheeshkumar P, Ms.Divyalakshmi S, NSS Programme Officers along with NSS Volunteers coordinated the programme.
